inspire me thursday {art series}

this week's theme is creating art in a series. here i've used dot labels, chalk inks, a message from a candy wrapper and some ephemera items. most of the stamped images are from non sequitur and the harlequin background is from hero arts. i hope this is in keeping with the serial art theme... This is really different and I think that is what it is all about. I am new to Inspire Me Thursday and glad to be here, thanks for your comment on my artwork. I am amazed at all the different art on the site and say why didn't I think of that? I will be back to your blog, great artwork. Carol M.

    I enjoyed looking through your blog; especially this piece.

    Thanks for all the comments today. Just email me your address and I will send you out some postcards. Hopefully I will be going to the post office next week. I have two toddlers to bring with me who run around like crazy whenever we go to the PO so I hold off going until I have a bunch of packages to mail. Thankfully the postal workers are always nice and just laugh at them.

    I think this is really, really wonderful (and it matches your blog:>) I like the repetition of the round shapes, but there's tremendous visual interest in the different designs with each one. The layering of pattern over the pattern and the continuation from one dot to the next gives this unity and movement. Well done:>

    pretty pinks and gum ball and candy...I know it is not, but it attracts and calls for fun attention! I like it, it calls me in for a closer look!

    I am having great fun looking at all of the responses to the IMT challenge. They are all so varied. I love how you have tied yours together through the use of colour and shape.

    Cheers,
