love these, wonder what you will do with them next! it is amazing what you find when you are rummaging around...I have a hard time throwing things away since every thing I have usually has a memory attached to wonder, when this person was giving these items up, why did they? Did they pass on and someone went through their things? Did they love them so much they wanted to share them with someone else? I wonder...I almost had a yard sale once and then decided, I have enough things, I dont 'need' the money....people have always been so generous with me, I put a free sign, locked myself inside and peeked out there every once in a while to see what people were taking...well, everything but one box was gone by the night...I want to start a routine again for this spring/summer of 'cleansing' my closets, drawers, etc....a challenge, like, throw 3 things a day away, give 3 things away, create 3 things with my piles of unfinished projects....I am going to see what I can come up with..

wow pauline! sometimes i wonder that too!

& i like you cleansing idea...the neighborhood that i live in does not allow us to put free stuff on the curb [yeah, i know, it's THAT kind of neighborhood]...but when we lived in maine [& we lived on a busy country road!], we used to put stuff out on the curb free for the taking & wouldn't you know, it wouldn't be too long before it was SNATCHED up like that! i miss that!!!!! joe & i bought were of the feeling that if someone out there could use it, then more power to the time we were getting ready to move & i had a little tykes kitchen [which i used with my preschool clients]... & i couldn't take it back with, what did i do? i thought some little girl or boy might so enjoy this...& i promptly placed it on the curb. literally minutes later, a pick-up truck pulled over & SWOOPED that kitchen set onto their flat bed! it made me happy to think that some little kid or kids were going to have fun!
