bailey, the warrior princess

don't be fooled by her seemingly docile, kitten-like exterior...she is the matriarch of our kitty tribe, who i've had for, gosh, 15 years! she doesn't look or act her age! she loves to chase {& ruthlessly, i might add} catnip filled balls, bugs {flies are her most favorite prey}, small critters {yes, she loves to torment chipmunks/moles/voles/mice, etc.} ....& she relentlessly cries {literally!} for ---no, demands--- our attention. she is our very own, in-house diva>>> drama queen extraordinaire. & she really believes {we strongly speculate this!} that she is the BOSS of us!when she is not catnapping, she loves to go "hunting," both indoors & out...& when she is inside the house, she particularly loves to stalk & pounce on unsuspecting inanimate objects, like this feather stick, which i had used for one of my atc projects {specimen}...after i had completed this project, i set it aside in a place that i thought for sure bailey wouldn't find it, since i know she has this fetish for such things...but i could not find this thing for weeks! joe, the dh, finally found it under the sofa & wondered where it had come from...i promptly snatched that & said, "i've been looking all over for this!"...i didn't even have to question who>>>it was miss thang herself! last night {way last night!}, i was posting my adventures from the day & i had wanted to put a link to that fab recycling artist i had discovered at the glitter workshop ...& went into my studio to retrieve the pin cushion i had bought {see pic below>>>the purple-y round item, the green one is the catnip toy} because i knew that her site was on the price tag {recycled from a carton of a diet energy drink---too cool}...but I COULD NOT FIND IT...argh! BAILEY!!! i searched for that pin cushion last night & all the while, bailey looking ever so "innocent" {NOT} & could not find that thing! until this afternoon...i found it forlornly at the base of one of our kitchen storage units...thank goodness too, as their were some pins stuck into it!!! joe is always on me to hide my pins & needles, etc. so that our kitties {um, BAILEY!} won't accidently ingest them... {big SIGH of relief} & without further ado, here is the link to that wonderful recycling artist...enjoy! That Recycling Artist is ME!!! Thanks so much for posting a link to my site! My cat is always stealing my pincushion too and it drives me crazy because there are TONS of pins and needles in it. I'm scared of what could possibly happen, but let's not think about that now.
I'm at the Farmer's Market on Saturdays pretty much every Saturday this summer, so come by and say hello!!
    Thanks again!
