... is the topic for this week's artwords. all week i racked my brain... then i happened upon this antique door plate that i eyed earlier this week... & i thought about how sometimes our curiosity can get the better of us when we can't resist but peek through the keyhole... sometimes we just can't help ourselves.

    hi judy!

always so happy to hear from you!!!!!!!!!

the top layer i used several layers of different inks {distress inks by tim holtz>>>absolutely love his stuff!} and the bottom layer is is green cardstock that i have distressed with sandpaper, ravioli cutter & t. holtz's 'frayed corduroy' distress ink...

the circus alpha stickers {caps} are by rusty pickle {love this company!!!!} & the lower case alphas are by ek success, bookplate series {i think}...& over the alpha stickers i smeared on 'old paper' distress ink using my fingers...

this was a challenge for me at first because my mind kept drawing a blank until i found that door plate...

    love ya to!
mary ann (p.s., look for something in the mail {smile}...)xo
