"the wind beneath my wings"

poem by larry henley bette midler's version... it must have been cold there in my shadow to never have sunlight on your face you were content to let me shine, that's your way you always walked a step behind so i was the one with all the glory while you were the one with all the strength a beautiful face without a name for so long a beautiful smile to hide the pain did you ever know that you're my hero? and everything i would like to be? i can fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings it might have appeared to go unnoticed but i've got it all here in my heart i want you to know the truth, of course i know it i would be nothing without you did you ever know that you're my hero? you're everything i wish i could be i could fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings did i ever tell you you're my hero? you're everything, everything i wish i could be oh, and i, i can fly higher than an eagle for you are the wind beneath my wings

fly, fly fly high against the sky

so high i almost touch the sky

thank you, thank you

thank GOD for you

the wind beneath my wings

rw: i appreciate your first comment...but i'm not sure i like the rest of what you go on to write {except for the have a nice day part at the end}...

i have been to your site & frankly, all these codes & what-not confuse me & sound "greek" to me...please go elsewhere with your bible-code talk...

i simply believe in God. period.

    thank you.

I was just going to say how I am thinking of you...which I am. But I also got distracted by that other comment and went to his blog. Very strange. It is interesting how people "find" things in the bible that they want to see.

This song and words never fail to bring me to tears. It is so beautiful. A wonderful tribute to your neice.

As for that first comment, I think I would just delete it! It's just garbage.

Thank you so much, Reya, for honoring our little Sweet Sinead on her 4th year born into eternity this past Sunday, June 11.
What a perfect song! "Wind Beneath my Wings" is one of the songs that I have already dedicated to our Sweet Angel Sinead. Our pain of losing our precious Sinead will never be forgotten. But our love for her goes on for eternity. She touched so many hearts in such a short amount of time and I truly believe that her spirit remains everlasting in our hearts and souls. That is why I love this song because Sinead and God are the Wind Beneath my Wings! Sinead and God may not be physically here on our earthly journey but spiritually and emotionally they help raise me up to new heights and help me become even more of a better human being.

I'd like to respond to Rudy Wellsand, regarding the second part of his comments 'is destiny controlled by codes?' You may think there are hidden codes in your body or the bible that control your destiny. Think whatever you may-it's a free world but please don't try to teach your mindset or send 'coded' messages to others who don't even ask to learn your way of thinking. That's what happened with the Holocaust, slavery, prejudice, hatred, etc. God gave us free will. Just look at Adam and Eve. It's how you use it and learn from the consequences that defines your destiny. If people just listened to their hearts and used their free will, maybe the Holocaust, slavery, prejudice, hatred etc would not exist.

No one really knows or understands how or why things end up the way they do. Only God knows for sure because, he knows everything and knows when the best time it should all happen.

For me, I'm not going to question why my daughter went back to heaven or 'who's controlling my destiny' or even 'who put the hidden codes into me'. I'm simply accepting God's blessing that my daughter Sinead is working side by side with God creating even more miracles and living in PEACE with God for ETERNITY. I am truly grateful to God for all he has done for me and this world. God is good, God knows what's best and I have incredible faith that whatever God wants, I freely accept it and live my life according to God's Will. With faith, God can move mountains.

I too visited your site. I read some of the other comments people had to make. You may have intelligence but I agree that you have missed the point. Hope you find what you're searching for and find true peace, Rudy.

By the way, here is the last part of that song:
"Fly, fly, fly high against the sky
So high I almost touch the sky
    Thank you, thank you
Thank GOD for you, the wind beneath my wings."

    Peace, Jo.
