art everday {day 1}

all day today at school, i kept wishing that the day would hurry up. come on 2:30! i said to myself. the day was not going fast enough for me. i was so itchin' to CREATE. finally when the time came to leave the school, it dawned on me that i needed to do some lite grocery shopping before i made it back home>>> curses, foiled again! finally i got home, pretty much dropped everything & went into my studio. i had this idea to use this old, woodturned candlestick & this paper mache torso that i found at michael's a couple of weeks ago. so after about 3 hours or so experimenting & tinkering, i came up with this>>> VOILA! you like? it's my very own dress form...(front view) ... (back view)...not bad for day 1 of AEM, eh? i already have an idea for tomorrow's project. but that's for me to know & you to find out.

    Don't you just love those Michael's dress forms? I could have an army of them. So far, I've done only one. You should be proud of yours!

    The dress form - wonderful. Absolutely beautiful. I'm so impressed in case you can't tell.

    But I'd never have room in my house. Sigh.
